The process

Most people are up and running within a week. Here is what the journey looks like.

Register in minutes

Fill out our quick online form or call us directly. We ask for the basics: your name, NDIS number and contact details. No lengthy paperwork, no waiting rooms.

We notify the NDIS

We register as your plan manager with the NDIS portal. You do not need to make any calls or fill out any forms. We take care of the whole setup on your behalf.

Your providers invoice us directly

Tell your providers to send invoices to Sentinel. We check every invoice for accuracy, claim from the NDIS and pay your providers fast — typically within 2 to 3 business days.

Log in anytime to see exactly where your funds are going. Every invoice, every payment, every dollar accounted for. No surprises at renewal time.

Your options

Three ways to manage your NDIS funding

Understanding your options helps you make the right choice for your situation.

NDIA Managed

The NDIA manages payments directly. Simple, but you can only use NDIS-registered providers and have limited flexibility.

Recommended

Plan Managed

A registered plan manager handles your invoices, claims and budget tracking. You get full choice of providers with none of the admin.

Self Managed

You manage everything yourself. Maximum flexibility, but you are responsible for all payments, claims and record-keeping.

What is plan management?

Plan management puts a registered expert between you and the financial side of your NDIS plan. We pay your providers, claim from the NDIS, track every dollar of your budget and flag anything unusual before it becomes your problem. You keep full choice over who supports you.

Does plan management cost me anything?

Nothing at all. The NDIS funds plan management separately under a category called Improved Life Choices — it sits on top of your support budget, not inside it. You never pay out of pocket, and your other funding is not touched.

How do I sign up?

How long does it take to get set up?

Most participants are fully active within 3 to 5 business days. Your supports keep running as normal during the switch — nothing pauses, nothing gets lost.

Can I switch from my current plan manager?

Yes, and it is easier than you think. You notify the NDIS, we handle the rest. Providers do not need to do anything differently. Most people are surprised by how smooth it is.

Do I have to use NDIS-registered providers?

With plan management, you have a lot more flexibility than agency-managed participants. You can use both registered and many unregistered providers, giving you far greater choice over who delivers your supports.
